Posting on social media doesn’t have to be a chore. There are some free posting tools (and some paid) tools to make your life really easy and save time. The way some of these work is you upload your images, include what text, links and hashtags you want to post with them, and schedule it. You are able to post across all your social media at once.
Standout Quotes:
- "Social media tools are super helpful for you being able to post across all your social sites at once."
- "Auto posting social media tools will usually post to things like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram, making it easy to create content."
- "Choose your posting app so you can control exactly what goes on your social media, including images, text, hashtags and links."
- "On some social media posting tools, you can recycle your content over and over."
- "Canva has the ability to create really beautiful visual content making PhotoShop superfluous."

Hello!

Stay tuned to learn more about these tools and how they can save you time and effort!
Social Media Tools
Social media tools can be game changers, especially when it comes to managing your content across multiple platforms. Some tools are free, others are low-cost, and a few are premium options. Here are the top tools I recommend:
1. Tailwind App
Website: Tailwind App
This tool is excellent for Pinterest users. Tailwind allows you to upload your Pinterest images, add blurbs, include links, and schedule posts across multiple boards. For example, you can schedule content to go live on one board this week, another board the next week, and so on. Tailwind offers a free plan with 15–20 posts per month. If you’re a heavy Pinterest user, this is a must-try tool.
2. MissingLettr
Website: MissingLettr
This tool automates social media posts by taking content from your blog and creating a year-long schedule of posts. You can customize the text, images, and hashtags before scheduling. The free version allows you to manage one social media account. It’s a fantastic option for keeping your content alive and engaging over time.
3. Later
Website: Later
Later is perfect for visual content scheduling. It allows you to upload images, write captions, and schedule posts on a calendar. The free plan includes 15 posts per month across four platforms. You can upgrade for more posts, and it’s relatively affordable. Later is intuitive, making it ideal for beginners.
4. MeetEdgar
Website: MeetEdgar
MeetEdgar is my go-to tool for automating and recycling social media content. It posts across multiple platforms, including Instagram Reels and videos, and allows you to create queues for your content. It’s a premium tool at $50/month, but the time saved makes it worth the investment.
5. IFTTT
Website: IFTTT
Short for "If This Then That," this free tool connects different apps to automate tasks. For example, if you upload a YouTube video, IFTTT can automatically tweet about it or share it on Facebook. It’s a fantastic option for simplifying your workflow.
6. Hootsuite
Website: Hootsuite
Hootsuite started as a Twitter-focused tool but now supports multiple platforms. While it’s not the most user-friendly option, it offers a free plan if you search for it specifically (e.g., /plans/free). It’s worth exploring if you’re looking for a simple solution.
7. Canva
Website: Canva
Canva is an essential tool for creating stunning social media graphics. With hundreds of templates, you can design images, change colors, and add text with ease. Once created, you can share them directly to your social media or download them for later use. Canva is free to use, but the Pro version offers even more features.
My Recommendations
- Start with Later: It’s beginner-friendly and allows for scheduling across multiple platforms.
- Use Canva for design: It’s versatile and eliminates the need for expensive software like Photoshop.
- Try MissingLettr: It’s a great free option for automating blog post sharing.
- Consider MeetEdgar: If you need automation and recycling, this is an excellent investment.
